Tragic Kingdom - No Doubt. Лента с персональными рекомендациями и музыкальными новинками, радио, подборки на любой вкус, удобное управление своей коллекцией. Tragic Kingdom. Исполнитель: No Doubt. 1995 ska. Tragic Kingdom is the third studio album by American rock band No Doubt. It was released on October 10, 1995, by Trauma Records and Interscope Records. It was the final album to feature original keyboardist Eric Stefani, who left the band in 1994. The album was produced by Matthew Wilder and recorded in 11 studios in the Greater Los Angeles Area between March 1993 and October 1995. Between 1995 and 1998, seven singles were released from it, including Just a Girl, which charted on the Billboard Hot. No Doubt Tragic Kingdom - Full Album 1995. Meus Discos. No Doubt End It On This 14. Led by the infectious, pseudo-new wave single Just a Girl, No Doubt's major-label debut, Tragic Kingdom, straddles the line between '90s punk, third-wave ska, and pop sensibility. The record was produced by Matthew Wilder, the auteur behind Break My Stride - a clever mainstream co-opting of new wave quirkiness, and, as such, an ideal pairing. Wilder kept his production lean and accessible, accentuating No Doubt's appealing mix of new wave melodicism, post-grunge rock, and West Coast sunshine. Gwens Tragic Kingdom-era pain was incandescent because it felt off the cuff, uninhibited, and barely removed from its cause. You saw that up close in Dont Speak, the breakup ballad that pushed No Doubts success over the edge, topping the Billboard airplay chart for 16 weeks. This last factor became a central tension in the narrative of No Doubt once Tragic Kingdom began its long ascent up the charts it was a diamond-seller by the decades end. There was this recursive interview cycle where the band would discuss how Stefani was always the solo cover star, which said magazine would also do then the band would complain about that in their next interview. No Doubt's 1995 release, Tragic Kingdom, brought Southern California's ska scene to a national stage while elevating the band to star status. An irresistible mix of reggae, punk, and power pop, Tragic Kingdom scored several hits, among them Spiderwebs, Just a Girl, and Don't Speak. Singer Gwen Stefani's looks made the group MTV shoo-ins, but her soaring voice is the real star, as evidenced by such songs as Happy Now-a classic you'll-regret-you-dumped-me anthem that recalls Blondie-and the bouncy Sunday Morning. Tragic Kingdom may have been shadowed by breakups and loss, but No Doubt channelled their emotions into genre-busting pop anthems that the world adored. Even as Tragic Kingdom progresses, No Doubt never lose their pep, finding a wonderful crescendo on the foot-stomping Sunday Morning, complete with Motown-esque whoa whoas. If the albums cover at was any indicator, No Doubt were fated to navigate the tricky situation of being eclipsed by their frontwoman. Even as riot grrrl was still operating underground, Gwen Stefani became one of the most recognisable female rock stars in the world. Album 1995 14 Songs. Pop 1995.
